- Constant Plate characteristics: Alphabet 2. (These letters are generally bigger than alphabet 1)
- This plate started life being printed on small crown watermarked paper. Soon after the start of printing the large crown paper was introduced.
- Both types of watermarked paper were perforated in 14 and 16.
