82c ~ Ha'penny bridge over the Liffey, Dublin, with quay-side buildings, and seagull Ha'penny Bridge built of cast iron (Coalbrookedale, Shropshire), was erected 1816 as the Wellington Bridge. The toll was one halfpenny per pedestrian (later, for a time, 1½d leading to its revised nickname, Penny Ha'penny Bridge. The toll was abolished in 1919; it became Liffey Bridge thereafter
