In the period from 10 to 14 july 1904 an experimental cancel was used in 's-Gravenhage. It was called "golflijnstempel" or "aaltjesstempel". The experiment only lasted 4 days. The results were disappointing, printing was too weak and the date was hard to read. Example here shows the date 12 JULI 1904 on a letter card.
