Jever (pronunciation: [ˈjeːfɐ]) is a town (14,020 inhabitants end 2014), capital of Friesland district in Lower Saxony, Germany. The name Jever is usually associated with a major brand of beer which is produced there. Jever is also a popular holiday resort.
